The nitrous oxide emitted from the device rapidly freezes the mole, damaging and ultimately destroying the tissue, which should fall off within two weeks, allowing the skin to heal.
Clinical data shows that the results are permanent, even after one or two sessions.
The treatment itself is pain free. After treatment, you might feel some minimal itching or irritation as the body eliminates the destroyed tissue.
The device has a very fine tip, allowing us to work within 1mm precision and ensuring that the healthy skin surrounding the mole is not affected by the rapid freezing.
After the freezing treatment, the mole might initially appear to be redder or darker. The lesion might crust, but over a period of 1 – 2 weeks those crusts should fall off, allowing the healthy skin beneath to heal.
